Mirapex Can Cause Amnesia
A medication used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and also those with restless leg syndrome, or RLS, is known as Mirapex, or Pramipexole. Some medications may cause forgetfulness or brain fog; however, they don’t typically cause amnesia. Usually, when we think of amnesia, we suppose someone got hit in the head with something or went through a traumatic event. Believe it or not, though, some prescription medications can also cause amnesia, and Mirapex is one of them. However, it’s incredibly rare for it to cause total amnesia.
