23. McDonald’s is trying to fit in with those frappe drinks.
The Mocha Frappe from McDonald’s, just like the Caramel Frappe, may sound like a good deal, but only because it’s a reasonable price doesn’t mean it’s an excellent choice to choose from. This drink also has the same ingredient as the Caramel Frappe, potassium citrate, which is something you should probably try to avoid if you can. It just doesn’t sound like it would be worth the agony of the side effects if you were to go on a binge and drink a Mocha Frappe from McDonald’s several days a week for weeks at a time. Some people probably do, too.

Like the Caramel Frappe, the Mocha Frappe also has 670 calories per large drink. It also has 98 carbohydrates per glass and 26 grams of fat. It does come in at a total of 11 grams of protein, but it’s not worth it. You could eat something that would be much more filling and more healthy than a frappe from McDonald’s and get more protein than one of these drinks. A cheeseburger from McDonald’s has 370 fewer calories than a large frappe does. You could order a cheeseburger and a small fry that would be a total of 520 calories. That’s still less than this one drink!
