47. Michael Phelps
Michael Phelps currently holds the record for winning the most Olympic events, and this famed swimmer has had quite a journey to his 28 medals. His drive to succeed stemmed from a strange place that you wouldn’t expect – it came from ADHD. When he was younger, his mom loved when he would go swim because it would help with his energy levels. She was more than happy to take him to all his practices as this would benefit him and his energy. He was diagnosed with ADHD in sixth grade, and this was discovered because he couldn’t sit through class but could swim for three hours at a time.
