
17. Ectomorphs Should Avoid High-Intensity Workouts
Ectomorph body types are trying to get into a workout routine need to develop habits that will enable them to have regular workouts without getting injured or wearing themselves out. Exercises should be no longer than one hour, as the body will run out of energy by about 45 minutes (via WebMD). High-intensity workouts should be avoided, as they cause the body to deplete calories and lose weight quickly. Ectomorphs should eat a carb-rich meal before exercising and possibly refuel in the middle of the workout, consisting of low-intensity exercises like cardio. If you are an ectomorph, pay close attention to form as you work out because your body could very easily be injured.
