Protein is vital for building the muscle mass you need for your strength training exercises, as well as keeping your metabolism at an elevated level. Many doctors recommend that at least thirty to forty percent of your calories each day should come from some protein source, depending on what your body weight is. It’s unnecessary to shove all of your protein into one meal either; spreading the percentage around in all of your meals leads to more protein intake.
