Once you know it is coming from a good source, it is always good to double-check your facts. Some posted things are false, even when you know that they are most likely common knowledge. Sadly, this goes for health myths, too.

Use an analytical mind and question the things that you are unsure of, especially when it comes to health-related topics. If you put your complete trust into health-related things, you could think you are doing something good for your body, when in reality, you are hurting it. If you don’t want to become pregnant soon after having your baby, it would be a good idea to speak with your doctor or ob-gyn and plan to go on birth control. You can go on the pill or get an IUD while breastfeeding, and it is entirely safe. When you talk to your doctor, you can determine the best form of birth control. If you don’t want to take anything, you can continue to breastfeed and can use condoms as well. Just know that your chances of getting pregnant are greater.
