
Picking the Ends of Your Hair
Some people pay a lot of attention to their hair. They buy all the best products to keep it looking healthy and soft… only for the dreaded split end to show up every now and again. Some people would just take scissors to the bottom and trim them off, but other people experience some joy in grabbing the split and peeling them apart. This is quite damaging to a person’s hair, but some people can’t help but continue the bad habit. This is actually a form of body-focused repetitive behavior, which can also include hair-pulling and nail-biting. Therapy and conscious awareness of it can help to curtail the habit.
