Skin is something that creates problems for a fair amount of people. Whether it’s genetics or not, we are seeking solutions constantly. Daily cleaning and moisturizing can make it feel refreshed, but that leaves us with many unsolved questions. Does that remove dead skin cells too? Is that enough work for my skin? What products should I try next? Maybe the key lies somewhere else.
Our skin is the biggest organ in our bodies. Therefore, it has its own cycle. Our skin sloughs off dead epidermis cells from time to time. That way, it is creating space for brand-new cells to come to the top. As we get older, just like other functions, this one slows down too. The result can be an abundance of dead skin cells on top of the epidermis skin layer.
Regardless of what magazines say, it is difficult to take care of it daily. It takes a lot of time from our activities and it’s not always doable. Besides that, routines and buying products all the time are exhausting. Nonetheless, there are some ways to create better-looking skin without any of it.
Cleaning it with just water is not going to be enough. Keeping your skin soft and youthful demands effort. Don’t go to the first store to buy skin products. The ingredients that you need are surely in your kitchen right now. Nature has given us plenty of organic items and we are not taking advantage of them enough. Taking good care from the comfort of your home is very achievable. Let’s see some of the tricks.
1. Oatmeal
This amazing type of grain has many benefits. Besides being the world-famous breakfast choice, it serves other purposes, as well. It is packed with nutrients and fibers that everyone’s body needs. Oatmeal contains vitamins and minerals that can help with preventing many dangerous diseases. On the plus side, hair, skin and nails are enhanced by this beneficial grain also.
Saponin in oatmeal helps with natural exfoliating, no matter what skin type you have. It removes dead skin cells and makes your skin glow. Minerals mixed with proteins in the oatmeal keep your skin hydrated longer. It stops water loss and moisturizes your skin. Also, oatmeal can be a crucial component to help you with eczema, rashes, psoriasis and many other diseases.
- Find a bowl and put 2 tablespoons of instant oatmeal in it. Add 1 tablespoon of honey along with 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt. When that is done, massage your face using circular motions with this paste. After applying it, let it sit on your skin for about 10-15 minutes. Later on, take it all off with water and gently dry your skin. The final step is putting on a light moisturizer. It will remove all dead cells from your skin.
- There is another way to help your skin with oatmeal. You will need a bowl, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, 2 or 3 teaspoons of honey and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Mix them all up and add a little water to make a thick mixture. For about 5 minutes rub this paste with light movements on your skin. Before rinsing it off, leave it on for about 10 minutes. You can repeat this process one more time in a week. If you want, you can put this on your body as well.
