Foods high in fiber will also help you feel more full, helping you not overeat or eat as frequently.

Limit the number of vegetables you eat that are starchy, such as potatoes, corn, and green peas; they can raise your blood sugar levels and trigger fat cells’ storage. If you’re going to eat starchy vegetables, choose colorful ones like yellow corn or sweet potatoes. Avoid processed grains like cookies, chips, crackers, and breakfast cereals.
